Thus, in the first three months of the current year the turnover within the system exceeded UAH 1,5 bn. Compared to the same period in 2014 the figure increased by 183%.
The average bill amount grew as well — if in March last year customers paid in average UAH 91, then in March 2015 as much as UAH 215. Even though such increase is quit predictable, one may definitely point out the growth of population trust in on-line payments.
The annual growth statistics (March 2014 — March 2015) speaks volumes about the positive trend in on-line settlements:
“We have been able to launch several crucial projects during the first three months of 2015 despite obvious economic, social and political hardships in the country.
First of all, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice we opened the way for online payments by entrepreneurs for documents from the single state register.
Second, we started up the “Autopayment” service for Kyivstar and Intertelecom subscribers.
Third, we enabled NMEPM on-line card payments”, — summarized Q1 results Taras Volobuev, the Portmone.com Development Director.
