Portmone.com confirmed its system’s safety

Interbank system of electronic delivery and payment Portmone.com received PCI DSS certificate.

This document confirms compliance with the security of the international standard PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Portmone.com — the first company in Ukraine, which was successfully audited in 2008 and since then receives it annually.

Portmone.com is the largest Ukrainian service-provider who carries out over 45 million transactions per year. That’s why system is certified for compliance with the highest security level — PCI DSS Level 1. Traditionally audit conducted by German company Security Research and Consulting GmbH.

Standard PCI DSS combines the requirements of international payment systems to information security implementation. It was developed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, which includes international payment systems such as Visa, Masterсard, JCB, American Express and Discovery.

Requirements of PCI DSS standard applies to banks, payment service providers and enterprises involved in the processing cardholder’s data. Mainly it concerned the providing security level of network infrastructure and safety of cardholder’s data.

Portmone.com is the official payment service provider of Visa and Masterсard in Ukraine.
